Dear Mum, The last two years have been the worst I have ever experienced.Watching the suffering that this disease so liberally bestowed on you was heartbreaking.Talking at you instead of with you and not hearing your voice for so long was agony. However, nothing compares to the huge void that your passing has left in our lives. I ache to see you again, I long to hug you and feel the warmth of your love, a love only my mum can give. You were my strength. You guided and advised,you built me up and grounded me almost simultaneously. You were an amazing mother and a good friend. You were passionate,honest and above all fiercely protective of those you loved. Life will never be the same again. Everywhere I look , there are memories of times we shared,and mostly very happy times. Though my heart will remain scarred by the tradgedy,I will endevour to keep alive the hopes and dreams that you held so dear. You shall live on in your children and grandchildren. Till we meet again.
